Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote Position for Hardware Design

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing our hardware design infrastructure, ensuring that our systems are efficient and reliable. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to significant advancements in high-performance computing.

What You'll Do

• Manage, maintain, and optimize working infrastructures to ensure high availability and performance.
• Develop monitoring and alerting systems to proactively address potential issues.
• Automate and improve the efficiency of working procedures to streamline operations.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery mechanisms to safeguard data integrity.
• Apply security and compliance protocols to protect sensitive information.
• Provide support to developers and researchers based on project needs.
• Write and maintain technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Architecture Engineering or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in using and developing with GIT (GitLab and GitHub).
• Experience with virtual machines and container management.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Make.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Grafana, and database management.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a multicultural environment.
• Proactive team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have

• Understanding of digital chip design flow.
• Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) applications.
