Senior Designer - Interior Design & Architecture

About the Role

Join Rapt Studio as a Senior Designer, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping innovative interior design and architecture projects. This Senior Designer position is an exciting opportunity to work with a team that values creativity and collaboration. As a Senior Designer, you will lead projects from conception to realization, ensuring that every detail reflects our commitment to excellence.

What You'll Do

• Lead design projects, collaborating with Creative Directors and Design Directors to push creative boundaries.
• Develop and articulate clear design intents, guiding teams through every phase of the project.
• Translate big ideas into cohesive spatial experiences, balancing narrative, brand, and function.
• Manage project teams through concept design, design development, and delivery.
• Foster collaboration with clients and partners to evolve ideas into aligned, buildable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 8+ years of experience in an architecture or design studio.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to mentor design staff.
• Fluency in production tools such as Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience coordinating across consultants, budgets, schedules, and approvals.

Nice to Have

• State licensure (or active pursuit) is encouraged but not required.
• Experience in graphic design and art direction.
• A positive attitude and enthusiasm for tackling unexpected challenges.
