About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Decision Scientist to join our growing team at Vinted. This Senior Decision Scientist remote position offers a unique opportunity to shape our payments products by leveraging data to drive impactful decision-making.

What You'll Do

• Partner with product teams and stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Test and analyze developed opportunities to validate their value and understand their business impact using statistical methods and visualization tools.
• Select, calculate, and monitor key performance indicators, proactively flagging issues and understanding root causes.
• Propose and implement experimentation strategies for complex product releases that ensure data-driven product development.
• Enable teams and stakeholders to leverage data for business insights via self-service dashboards.
• Contribute to a data-driven culture by promoting best practices in analytics and decision-making.

Requirements

• Experience in a Decision Science, Data Analytics, or Data Science role.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong SQL and Python skills, familiar with Jupyter notebooks.
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong statistics knowledge and experience running A/B tests and regression analysis.
• Highly results-oriented and comfortable with iterative processes.
• Strong communicator who can present results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in Fintech / Payments.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
