Senior Database Administrator - Remote Contract Role

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Database Administrator to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This Senior Database Administrator remote position offers a competitive pay rate of $90-$100 per hour, with a contract extending through June 2027. You will play a critical role in overseeing database administration, design, and management tasks to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.

What You'll Do

• Oversee database administration tasks including design, implementation, and management.
• Ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues efficiently.
• Maintain database replication for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and support organizational goals.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Database Administration and Database Design.
• Strong expertise in troubleshooting and resolving database issues.
• Experience managing, maintaining, and optimizing databases while ensuring data integrity.
• Knowledge of implementing and maintaining database replication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, are beneficial.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions.
• Experience with Snowflake, Azure, SQL Server, Tableau, and Power BI.
