Senior Data Engineer - Cybersecurity Focus

We’re hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join our high-performing cyber team supporting a large government enterprise. What You'll Do

• Build ETL pipelines, enterprise relational databases, and data analytics applications.
• Transform structured and semi-structured data streams into actionable intelligence.
• Work with SIEM tools such as Splunk, Cribl, and MS Sentinel, as well as COTS/GOTS/open-source technologies.
• Integrate new systems and optimize data warehouse performance.
• Establish standards for database operations, programming, and security.

Requirements

• 8+ years of IT experience as a Data Engineer or Data Architect.
• BS/BA degree with proficiency in Python.
• Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, Cribl, MS Sentinel).
• Skilled in data modeling, high-performance computing, and large-scale data platforms.
• Experienced in building out data pipelines utilizing Splunk/Cribl or other similar SIEMs/ETL tools.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts.
• Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.
