About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer - AI Data Service (Remote) to join our innovative team at Binance. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that support our Square team’s data and feature engineering needs. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will collaborate closely with algorithm, product, and business teams to translate business requirements into reliable data and feature solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines to support machine learning and recommendation systems.
  • Lead feature data preparation, transformation, validation, and monitoring processes.
  • Drive the development of core data infrastructure and feature platforms to maximize business impact.
  • Ensure data quality, stability, and performance across both offline and online feature pipelines.
  • Identify data gaps and optimization opportunities, defining success metrics with Product and Business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience in data engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with large-scale data processing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and feature engineering.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Java and Scala.
  • Solid experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hive, or Flink.
  • Familiarity with the machine learning feature lifecycle, including offline training and online serving features.
  • Experience with data warehouses and feature stores is a strong plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese is required for coordination with overseas partners.
