Senior Data Architect - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Architect to join our team at Ubique Systems. This Senior Data Architect remote position offers an exciting opportunity to design and implement high-performance data solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for creating robust data pipelines and ensuring data quality, reliability, and security on the Google Cloud Platform.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and deploy high-performance data pipelines for both streaming and batch data sources.
• Build and maintain data lakes and data warehouses, ensuring scalability and data integrity.
• Utilize BigQuery, SQL, and Airflow to manage and analyze large datasets.
• Implement DevOps practices, including automation of infrastructure provisioning and continuous integration/delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer projects from inception to completion.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and relevant tools (BigQuery, SQL, Airflow).
• Obtained Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.

• Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and frameworks.
