About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst - Gaming Focus (Remote) to join our dynamic team at Voodoo, a leading tech company in the mobile gaming industry. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our flagship game, Paper.io 2, by leveraging data insights to enhance player engagement and monetization strategies.

What You'll Do

• Take ownership of the A/B testing cycle for Paper.io 2, validating feature values and optimizing monetization strategies to drive core KPIs.
• Lead the analysis of large, complex datasets to uncover player behaviors and identify growth opportunities.
• Translate data insights into clear, actionable recommendations that influence game design and the product roadmap.
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and developers to embed data-driven decisions throughout the game lifecycle.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports that keep the team aligned on critical metrics.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in analytical roles within the gaming industry, with a strong understanding of product teams.
• Proficient in SQL and either R or Python, with experience handling complex, large datasets.
• Strong grasp of A/B testing and statistical analysis methods.
• Autonomous and pragmatic problem solver with a keen analytical mind and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced live-ops/product-driven environments with rapid iteration.
