Senior Cybersecurity & ISO 27001 Lead - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Cybersecurity & ISO 27001 Lead to join our team at Westzane Security Ltd. This remote role offers the opportunity to lead ISO 27001 implementations and ensure cybersecurity compliance for our clients across the African Union.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end ISO/IEC 27001 implementation for clients and internal environments.
• Conduct ISO 27001 gap assessments, readiness assessments, and risk assessments.
• Define and implement ISMS scope, risk assessment methodologies, and policies.
• Prepare organizations for certification audits and manage surveillance audits.
• Engage with government agencies and regulators to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in Cybersecurity or Information Security Management.
• Proven track record of leading organizations to ISO/IEC 27001 certification.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related fields.
• ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer certification is mandatory.
• Experience with government agencies or highly regulated enterprises.

Nice to Have

• ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Additional certifications like CISSP or CISM.
• Familiarity with security tooling and controls.
