Senior Customer & Application Development Engineer - Composites (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Customer & Application Development Engineer - Composites (Remote) to join our team at ExxonMobil. In this role, you will help grow our ProxximaTM polyolefin thermoset system business, leveraging your extensive experience in thermoset composites. You will work closely with customers worldwide to demonstrate the advantages of our innovative resin formulations.

What You'll Do

• Provide on-site technical support for customers producing composites via various molding processes.
• Assist customers in optimizing their processes to run ProxximaTM resins effectively.
• Author technical reports and publications to share insights and learnings.
• Co-author promotional materials highlighting the performance benefits of our products.
• Train and mentor less experienced colleagues to enhance team capabilities.
• Collaborate with technical colleagues in Texas to ensure alignment on product applications.
• Travel internationally to support customer needs and business objectives.
• Gather market insights to inform business strategy and application development.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in fabricating or supervising the manufacturing of thermoset composites.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of thermoset chemistry, including epoxy and polyurethane systems.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficient in computer use with strong organizational skills.
