Senior Communication Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Communication Specialist to lead our communication strategy and enhance our positioning at local, European, and international levels. This Senior Communication Specialist remote role requires a strategic vision and proven experience in defining clear and structured guidelines for institutional and project communication, aligning with our organization's values and mission.

What You'll Do

• Define, plan, and implement the organization's integrated communication strategy (online).
• Manage institutional communication and communication for national and European projects.
• Oversee and develop the editorial plan for social media, website, newsletters, and digital campaign ideation.
• Curate communication for events, conferences, workshops, and public initiatives in Italy and abroad.
• Provide strategic and operational guidelines to project teams to ensure consistency and quality in dissemination.
• Collaborate with all strategic departments to ensure coherence between communication, design, and sustainability.
• Monitor KPIs and performance of communication activities, preparing reports and improvement strategies.
• Contribute to the development and consolidation of the organization's identity.

Requirements

• Fluent English at C1 level, to be tested during the interview.
• Excellent writing skills in both Italian and English.
• Proven experience in strategic communication roles, preferably in the third sector, educational field, or international cooperation.
• Experience in photo and video editing with professional tools.
• Experience in communication and dissemination of funded projects (preferred).
• Skills in data analysis and KPI monitoring.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, CapCut, AI software, and social media analysis tools.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally on short trips.
