Senior Cloud Security Consultant - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Security Consultant - Remote to join our dynamic Cyber team at Deloitte. This role is pivotal in enhancing the cyber and organizational risk profiles of leading companies. As a Senior Consultant, you will engage in delivering cloud security projects that help our clients navigate the complex threat landscape. What You'll Do

• Deliver client-facing cloud security projects, assessing cloud environments and identifying gaps across identity, network, data protection, logging, and monitoring.
• Build and operationalize cloud security controls and pipelines using infrastructure-as-code and application programming interfaces (APIs).
• Configure detections, dashboards, and playbooks to enhance threat monitoring and response.
• Document architectures, runbooks, and deployment guides; transition solutions to client operations.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal teams to plan, execute, and continuously improve solutions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience designing or implementing security controls in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• 2+ years of experience implementing infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• 2+ engagements delivering hands-on client-facing cloud security work.
• Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Nice to Have

• 2+ years operationalizing cloud logging, detection engineering, or security information and event management (SIEM) in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• One or more current certifications (e.g., AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or Palo Alto Networks Cortex certification).
• Experience with Cloud Native Application Protection (CNAPP).
