Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - AWS & Azure Remote

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team at Dutch Bros Coffee. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while playing a crucial part in architecting and scaling our cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure. As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing secure, automated, and cost-efficient cloud solutions that support our rapid growth.

What You'll Do

• Design and scale AWS and Azure cloud foundations, including multi-account architecture and governance frameworks.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate cloud provisioning and management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud security and compliance with industry standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead infrastructure design reviews to enhance team capabilities.
• Drive cloud maturity through automation, observability, and cost optimization strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and Azure environments, including Linux and Windows server administration.
• Proven experience in designing multi-account AWS environments using Control Tower and IAM roles.
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and cloud security best practices.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate architectural decisions to cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with FinOps cost optimization strategies.
• Familiarity with compliance-driven environments such as PCI-DSS.
• Previous mentoring experience in a technical capacity.
