Senior CAD Expert - Remote Position for Renewable Energy Projects

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior CAD Expert to join our team in the renewable energy sector. In this remote position, you will play a crucial role in the development of wind and solar energy projects. You will be responsible for creating and editing technical drawings and plans that serve as the foundation for the planning and realization of our wind and solar parks.

What You'll Do

• Create detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD, from design to execution and detail planning, contributing your technical expertise to our wind energy projects.
• Collaborate closely with project engineers to independently develop CAD plans while adhering to all planning specifications, regulatory requirements, and technical specifications from our suppliers.
• Conduct precise quantity surveys to significantly support the tendering and calculation processes.
• Manage CAD data systematically, ensuring comprehensive documentation throughout all project phases.
• Work closely with all departments and teams at BayWa r.e. Wind GmbH, coordinating and managing external specialists and experts to efficiently integrate technical content into the overall process.

Requirements

• Completed training as a Technical Draftsman, Civil Technician, or a degree in a technical field.
• Ideally, experience in creating CAD drawings for wind energy projects.
• Familiarity with planning wind farms and integrating external pipeline requests into your planning is a plus.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and common MS Office applications.
• Strong spatial imagination and a solid understanding of construction technology.
• Structured, reliable, and solution-oriented work style, with a collaborative spirit.
• German language skills at a minimum C1 level for precise written communication.

• Experience in renewable energy project management.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance.
• Familiarity with project management software.
