Senior C# Engineer - FinTech Remittance and Payment Services Platform

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior C# Engineer remote to join our FinTech team developing a remittance and payment services platform. This role is pivotal in building secure and compliant systems for international money transfers and partner integrations. As a Senior C# Engineer, you will be responsible for automating financial operations and ensuring efficient workflows.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain backend services in C# for our payment services platform.
• Build integrations with partner and banking APIs to enhance our financial services.
• Automate internal operations and reconciliation processes to improve efficiency.
• Contribute to the definition of functional and technical requirements for new features.
• Collaborate closely with business and operations teams to optimize financial workflows and ensure compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience in backend development using C# / .NET.
• Proven experience in FinTech systems, particularly in core banking and remittance platforms.
• Strong understanding of money movement, reconciliation, and transaction workflows.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and financial automation.
• Solid knowledge of SQL databases and experience with data consistency and reconciliation logic.
• Ability to define and document functional and technical requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• English B2+ proficiency is required.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of security and compliance related to financial data exchange.
