About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Budget Analyst - Remote to join our dynamic team at PenBay Technology Group. As a Senior Budget Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing budgets, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations.

What You'll Do

• Develop and manage comprehensive budgets for various projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and cost analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Prepare and present budget reports to stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective budget management and resource allocation.
• Utilize project management tools such as JIRA to track budget performance and project milestones.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Budget Analyst or in a similar financial role.
• Strong understanding of federal budgeting processes and regulations.
• Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, including Python, SAS, and PySpark.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with government stakeholders and present financial data clearly.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Nice to Have

• Experience in software development lifecycle and budget management for tech projects.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and air traffic control budgeting.
