About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior C++ Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of a modern, fast, and secure browser based on the Chromium engine. This Senior C++ Developer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work on both Android and Desktop projects, enhancing user experience and performance.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement new features into the Chromium-based browser.
  • Support and merge updates from the Chromium repository.
  • Optimize performance focusing on memory, CPU usage, and loading speed.
  • Fix complex bugs and crashes through deep debugging.
  • Write automation scripts and build tools using Python.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of commercial C++ development experience, particularly with Modern C++ (17/20/23).
  • Experience in multithreading and asynchronous programming.
  • Proficiency with debugging tools such as GDB, LLDB, and WinDbg.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to advance your career as a Senior C++ Developer remote.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with the Chromium codebase, CEF, Electron, or other browser engines.
  • Knowledge of Python for Chromium build infrastructure.
  • Understanding of TypeScript/JavaScript for interaction with V8 and WebUI.
  • Familiarity with network protocols (HTTP/S, QUIC) and graphics stacks (Skia, OpenGL/Vulkan).
  • Experience with the GN/Ninja build system.
