Technical Key Account Manager - Food & Beverage
About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Key Account Manager (remote) to join our dynamic team at Datwyler. This role is pivotal in ensuring customer success and driving sustainable business growth within the Food & Beverage sector. As a Technical Key Account Manager remote, you will lead technical project management activities, build long-term customer relationships, and provide strategic support to enhance sales initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Provide technical consulting in the customer's product (pre-)development process.
- Acquire new orders through technical contacts with customers.
- Support customer inquiries and clarify technical specifications.
- Independently implement projects and coordinate internal and external resources to ensure project success.
- Clarify technical customer requirements and channel essential technical information from the market into the organization.
- Lead weekly interdisciplinary coordination meetings with production planning.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding project planning and execution.
- Support the Head of Sales in commercial discussions with customers.
Requirements
- Formal training with proven expertise in project management and a profound technical understanding.
- Strong communication skills and a sensitive approach in dealing with customers and strategic partners.
- Experience in sensitive commercial negotiations and manufacturing processes in the food and beverage sector.
- Agile, innovative, analytical mindset with a systematic work method to develop customized solutions.
- Fluency in English and German (C2 level), with French as an advantage.
Nice to Have
- Experience in project management within a technical field.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
