Senior Business Development Manager - Offshore Energy Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at Lloyd's Register, focusing on the offshore energy sector. This remote role offers the opportunity to drive sales and commercial growth across the UK and Northern Europe. You will play a pivotal role in maximizing our regional energy footprint, building relationships, and converting industry connections into sustained work for our delivery teams.

What You'll Do

• Identify and qualify offshore energy projects and clients within your sales territory.
• Engage proactively with key personnel to develop and maintain relationships within offshore energy client groups.
• Develop and present compelling proposals that reflect client needs based on gathered intelligence.
• Work with bid managers to provide timely and financially sound bid submissions in response to RFQ/RFPs.
• Be accountable for sales performance and forecasting through accurate data input into Salesforce.
• Participate in external marketing events to develop sales networks and promote Lloyd's Register.

Requirements

• Proven experience in business development within the offshore energy sector.
• Established contact network with operators, EPCIs, and OEMs.
• Flexibility for worldwide travel as required for client meetings.
• Strong communication skills to convey value propositions effectively.
• Ability to forecast and develop sales plans with commercial acumen.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar software for sales management.

• Experience in both Oil & Gas and Renewable sectors.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Familiarity with the latest developments in the offshore energy market.
