Senior Business Analysis and Quality Assurance Lead - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Business Analysis and Quality Assurance Lead to join our team remotely. In this role, you will serve as the right hand to the Project Manager, overseeing both Business Analysis and Quality Assurance workstreams within a federal project environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT projects, particularly in federal or government settings, and will be responsible for leading and coordinating BA and QA teams to ensure deliverables meet expectations and align with project scope, schedule, and quality standards.

What You'll Do

• Act as the PM’s delegate and proxy for BA/QA workstream execution, ensuring smooth project oversight.
• Coordinate across BA and QA teams, tracking progress, risks, dependencies, and issues while providing timely escalations.
• Lead a team of Business Analysts, ensuring consistency and quality in deliverables, and facilitate stakeholder discussions to resolve any ambiguities.
• Oversee QA activities including test strategy, planning, and execution, ensuring end-to-end traceability from requirements through testing and release.
• Manage BA and QA workloads, priorities, and deliverables, promoting best practices across documentation, testing, and delivery governance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis and/or Quality Assurance on IT projects, with federal/government project experience required.
• Proven experience leading or coordinating BA and/or QA teams, with strong hands-on experience in QA processes.
• Expertise in requirements analysis, validation, and traceability, with proficiency in tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience working in Agile and/or hybrid SDLC environments.
• Strong communication skills for status reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting federal clients in a consulting or contracting environment.
• Familiarity with RAID management, dependency tracking, and delivery metrics.
• Ability to work across multiple teams or workstreams simultaneously.
