What You'll Do

• Spearhead the development of a greenfield product, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create a data-driven wellness platform.
• Mentor and lead by example, guiding team members in best practices and technical standards.
• Advocate for iterative development practices to maximize experimentation and maintain high-quality standards.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of backend systems, utilizing your expertise in Python and AWS.
• Drive the technical direction of your team, influencing decisions and fostering a culture of engineering excellence.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Backend Engineer (Python remote) with a strong product and business mindset.
• Expertise in Domain Driven Design and building large-scale systems.
• Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases, and AWS services.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and tackle complex problems.
• Experience with building efficient, scalable, reliable backend systems.
