Senior Backend Engineer – Calc Team (.NET/​C#) - Remote

Join Deel as a Senior Backend Engineer on the Calc Team, where you'll play a pivotal role in developing backend services that ensure compliance and efficiency in payroll and HR processes. What You'll Do

• Design, maintain, and develop backend calculation services focused on legislative compliance, payroll, and HR.
• Optimize performance, throughput, and accuracy of calculation services.
• Participate in product planning throughout the Software Development Lifecycle, contributing your insights from discovery to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Frontend, Back-End, Full-Stack Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA.
• Ensure a high-quality experience for customers using our products.
• Adapt to new ways of working while keeping Information Security and Customer Excellence at the forefront.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of C#/.NET and .NET Core.
• Strong understanding of SOLID Principles and experience with MS-SQL databases.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Experience in creating RESTful APIs and working with Dapper or similar ORM.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, preferably in a remote setting.

Nice to Have

• Experience with multi-threaded code and memory caching tools like Redis.
• Familiarity with Windows Services and Service Bus.
• Knowledge of the FinTech industry.
