What You'll Do

• Design and build backend services that integrate AI capabilities into our payroll workflows, enhancing user experience and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Machine Learning engineers and operations teams to develop real-world AI-powered tools that streamline processes.
• Utilize your expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL to create robust and scalable backend solutions.
• Implement strong API integrations that facilitate seamless data flow and enhance system functionalities.
• Work with unstructured data and manage ETL pipelines to ensure data integrity and accessibility.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in backend or full-stack engineering, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Proficient in JavaScript and Node.js, with hands-on experience in PostgreSQL.
• Strong skills in API integration and familiarity with integrating AI APIs into production systems.
• Experience handling unstructured data and developing ETL processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python scripting for AI workflows.
• Familiarity with OpenAI, Gemini, or Anthropic APIs.
• Background in building chatbots or conversational interfaces.
• Understanding of prompt engineering fundamentals.
