Senior ArcGIS Deployment Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior ArcGIS Deployment Engineer to join our dynamic team remotely. In this position, you will deploy and optimize advanced and mission-critical ArcGIS deployments. You will partner directly with customers to share best practices on advanced ArcGIS Enterprise deployment architecture and integration topics. This role supports Defense and Intelligence clients, allowing you to make a significant impact through the web and mobile applications you create.

What You'll Do

• Deploy and configure complex ArcGIS solutions across various operating systems, cloud providers, and security architectures to meet customer service level agreements.
• Plan and execute the migration of content between ArcGIS deployments, utilizing different architectures and deployment strategies.
• Troubleshoot advanced ArcGIS deployments, providing guidance on platform components such as storage, networking, and security.
• Collaborate with customers and partners to design and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform.
• Work closely with internal teams to align technical objectives with Esri's technology platform.

Requirements

• 12+ years of professional experience in a similar role, focusing on ArcGIS or comparable IT systems.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and administrating enterprise ArcGIS solutions.
• Broad system administration experience on Windows and/or Linux platforms.
• Proficient in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, C#).
• Familiarity with network concepts such as domains, directories, DNS, HTTPS, firewalls, proxies, and load balancing.
• Experience with at least one RDBMS, including SQL query writing (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• US citizenship with an active or current Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a related STEM field.

Nice to Have

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Industry-standard IT certifications (e.g., Esri, Microsoft, Amazon).
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Experience with Esri software including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Desktop, and their associated APIs.
