Senior AI Product Owner - Claims Processing Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior AI Product Owner Remote to lead AI initiatives in claims processing for our client, a global leader in technology-enabled risk and benefits solutions. This role offers the opportunity to drive significant improvements in claims operations, cost control, and client service performance.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define AI-enabled improvements and translate objectives into structured, sprint-ready execution plans.
• Engage with claims leadership and operational managers to identify workflow bottlenecks and translate insights into actionable AI use cases.
• Decompose initiatives into epics and features that reflect operational workflows, ensuring compliance and integration with existing systems.
• Work closely with AI engineers and data scientists to validate feasibility, data availability, and model explainability.
• Own and refine the product backlog, prioritizing based on business value and aligning with enterprise AI portfolio constraints.
• Prepare user stories with detailed acceptance criteria that reflect real-world operational scenarios.
• Communicate progress and risks transparently to stakeholders, managing expectations around delivery timelines.
• Monitor deployment and user feedback, adjusting backlog priorities based on performance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information management, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Product Owner or Manager role, particularly in insurance or claims operations.
• Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence and experience in claims operations or insurance servicing models.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Excellent communication skills across business and technical audiences.

• Experience with regulatory compliance in claims processing.
