Senior AI/​ML Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our remote team at January Capital. In this role, you will design, build, and deploy scalable machine learning systems to solve complex real-world problems. As a Senior AI/ML Engineer remote, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to cutting-edge AI/ML initiatives, and play a key role in delivering production-ready solutions.

What You'll Do

• Develop, train, and optimize machine learning models to enhance performance and accuracy.
• Design and implement scalable data and ML pipelines that support high-volume data processing.
• Work on advanced AI/ML solutions, including large language models (LLMs) and agentic workflows.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to extract actionable insights that drive business decisions.
• Deploy models using cloud infrastructure and APIs to ensure seamless integration.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to align on project goals and deliverables.
• Contribute to research and innovation in AI/ML, staying updated with the latest trends and technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, XGBoost, and LightGBM.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining ML pipelines that are robust and scalable.
• Practical experience with LLMs and agent-based AI systems.
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and API-based deployment strategies.
• Understanding of MLOps practices and automation tools to streamline workflows.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages such as R or Java.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
