About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager - Remote to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will lead financial reporting, oversee payroll accounting, and ensure compliance with US GAAP. As a Senior Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategies and enhancing our accounting operations.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Manage payroll accounting processes and ensure timely and accurate payroll submissions.
  • Oversee audit support activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
  • Utilize SQL Server Management Studio for data management and financial analysis.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting operations.
  • Support tax compliance and revenue recognition initiatives.
  • Mentor junior accounting staff and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on US GAAP.
  • CPA certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and payroll accounting.
  • Experience with SQL Server Management Studio and financial analysis tools.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in a SaaS environment is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with financial planning & analysis (FP&A) metrics.
  • Experience with audit processes and regulatory compliance.
