Senior Accountant - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant - Remote to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls while working remotely. Your expertise will help shape our financial strategies and ensure adherence to US GAAP standards.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
• Conduct variance analysis and account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and provide insights.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and budgeting processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online and ERP systems like NetSuite.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Polish Accounting ACT and accrual accounting.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance regulations.
• Certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus.
