Senior Accountant - Remote Opportunity at Innovecs

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team and support accounting operations for our Polish entity. This Senior Accountant remote role will focus on ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with Polish accounting and tax regulations, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.

What You'll Do

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of Polish accounting and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with international accounting standards.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Fluent in English and Polish.
