About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Online Courses Manager to join the Raspberry Pi Foundation, a leader in EdTech. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the UK while contributing to our mission of enhancing computing education globally. You will lead the development and scaling of our online courses, which have already supported over 400,000 educators since 2016.

What You'll Do

  • Develop the strategic vision and long-term plan for our online courses, ensuring alignment with educational needs and our organizational priorities.
  • Lead the design and development of a diverse portfolio of online courses, collaborating with subject experts, videographers, and designers.
  • Oversee course delivery and moderation, ensuring an excellent user experience and achievement of learning goals.
  • Work with marketing to promote online courses, maximizing their reach and impact.
  • Collaborate with the product team to define and prioritize the product roadmap for our Training Hub, ensuring responsiveness to user needs.
  • Ensure courses reflect evidence-based pedagogy and andragogy, adhering to the Foundation's teaching and learning approaches.
  • Identify trends in online learning and adapt content to remain innovative and relevant.
  • Manage a high-performing team, ensuring effective resource allocation across multiple projects.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in leading the production of online courses for a global adult learner audience.
  • Proven ability to translate adult learning principles into high-quality course content.
  • Experience in cross-functional product teams, advocating for educator perspectives in product development.
  • Strong skills in data analysis and feedback management to drive course improvement.
  • Experience managing a collaborative team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in working with diverse stakeholders.
  • Commitment to the Foundation's mission and values, particularly regarding diversity and inclusion.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in creating professional development for educators.
  • Understanding of andragogy research and principles.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and potentially internationally.

  • Competitive salary ranging from £58,000 to £64,000 per annum.
