Security Engineer III - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Security Engineer III remote position at JPMorgan Chase. This role is pivotal in executing critical technology solutions across various business functions, supporting the firm’s objectives.

What You'll Do

• Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with innovative approaches to build solutions.
• Create secure and high-quality production code while maintaining algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met by software code development.
• Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to improve software applications and systems.
• Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data, using insights to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.
• Foster a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.

Requirements

• Proficient in Java, TypeScript, and Python, with experience in relational databases.
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
• Overall knowledge of software applications and technical processes within disciplines like cloud, AI, machine learning, and mobile.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
• Exposure to cloud technologies, with AWS experience being desirable.
