About the Role
We are seeking a Seasonal Stewarding Manager to join our prestigious team at the Hôtel du Palais in Biarritz. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage the stewarding department in a luxury hotel setting, ensuring operational excellence and guest satisfaction. As a Seasonal Stewarding Manager, you will oversee a team of 4 to 10 staff members, managing both high and low seasons effectively.
What You'll Do
- Lead the administrative and operational management of the stewarding service.
- Supervise and train a team of stewards, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.
- Manage costs and inventory, maintaining budgetary controls.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel standards.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or restaurant environment.
- Educational background in Hospitality, Restaurant Management, or Tourism (BAC+2 preferred).
- Strong managerial and leadership skills.
- Fluent in both English and French; proficiency in another language is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
