Seasonal Stewarding Manager - Luxury Hotel

About the Role

We are seeking a Seasonal Stewarding Manager to join our prestigious team at the Hôtel du Palais in Biarritz. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage the stewarding department in a luxury hotel setting, ensuring operational excellence and guest satisfaction. As a Seasonal Stewarding Manager, you will oversee a team of 4 to 10 staff members, managing both high and low seasons effectively.

What You'll Do

• Lead the administrative and operational management of the stewarding service.
• Supervise and train a team of stewards, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.
• Manage costs and inventory, maintaining budgetary controls.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel standards.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or restaurant environment.
• Educational background in Hospitality, Restaurant Management, or Tourism (BAC+2 preferred).
• Strong managerial and leadership skills.
• Fluent in both English and French; proficiency in another language is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
