Sanitation Worker - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Worker to join our team at ID Logistics. What You'll Do
- Perform cleaning tasks in various areas including warehouses, offices, hallways, break rooms, restrooms, and other workspaces.
- Utilize approved chemicals to effectively clean, disinfect, and sanitize surfaces.
- Maintain all carpeted areas using a vacuum cleaner.
- Empty trash containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Replenish bathroom and break room supplies as needed.
- Ensure all walkways are kept clean and free of obstructions.
- Operate scrubber machines to clean warehouse floors efficiently.
- May assist with light maintenance tasks as required.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining regular attendance.
- Take personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs, and GMP guidelines.
- Report any accidents or hazards immediately to the supervisor.
- Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report any noncompliance observed.
- Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a sanitation or cleaning role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures.
- Good communication skills to report issues effectively.
- Must be able to lift and move items as required.
- Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to company policies.
