Emergency Preparedness Physician - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an Emergency Preparedness Physician to join HUS, the largest healthcare organization in Finland, known for its international reputation in healthcare excellence. This remote opportunity allows you to work on critical preparedness and response initiatives in a high-level healthcare environment.

What You'll Do

• Act as a medical expert in emergency preparedness, collaborating with key authorities and stakeholders.
• Coordinate and implement health-related directives for HUS during special situations.
• Support the planning and development team at the Emergency Preparedness Center.
• Engage in clinical patient work as per your specialty, if agreed upon.
• Participate in active research initiatives to enhance emergency preparedness protocols.

Requirements

• Licensed physician with a relevant specialty and a doctoral degree in medicine.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to grasp complex issues.
• Familiarity with emergency service collaboration and response.
• Active involvement in research activities is considered an advantage.
• Willingness to undergo a security clearance process as per Finnish law.

Nice to Have

• Experience in public health or emergency medicine.
• Fluency in Finnish and English.
• Previous work in an international healthcare setting.
