About the Role

GitLab is seeking a passionate and strategic Sales Development Representative (SDR) remote to join our dynamic Revenue Marketing team. As a remote Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts by leading initial outreach to targeted accounts. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fully remote environment where you can leverage your skills to connect with potential clients and introduce them to GitLab's innovative DevOps platform.

What You'll Do

  • Effectively manage inbound lead flow and conduct high-level discovery conversations in target accounts.
  • Meet or exceed SDR sourced Sales Accepted Opportunity (SAO) volume targets.
  • Collaborate with teammates to develop targeted lists and call strategies.
  • Utilize business knowledge to research accounts and develop new opportunities.
  • Work on leads using Outreach.io and manage all activities using Salesforce.
  • Document processes in the GitLab handbook to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Act as a mentor for new SDR hires, fostering a supportive team environment.

Requirements

  • Positive and energetic phone skills, with excellent listening and writing abilities.
  • A self-starter with a proven track record of successful achievements.
  • Knowledge of business processes and organizational structures.
  • A determined personality with a desire to grow and win.
  • Proficient in using Salesforce; previous tech industry experience is a plus.
  • Eagerness to grow professionally and contribute to team success.
