What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with our Interior Design Consultant to enhance customer selections and complete room looks.
  • Offer expertise in products, services, and financing based on customer needs.
  • Engage clients using Havertys' customer relationship management system for effective follow-up.
  • Maintain knowledge of various furniture styles and products to better assist customers.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer communications simultaneously.
  • Positive and engaging personality with a creative flair.
  • Proficient in resolving customer objections and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with furniture styles preferred but not required.
  • Computer proficiency, including email and MS Office; tablet/iPad operation preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED required; college education or relevant retail experience preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in interior design.
  • Previous retail experience, especially in a commissioned sales role.
