Sales Associate - Retail Position
About the Role
Join United Pacific as a Sales Associate in a dynamic retail environment. What You'll Do
- Assist in daily operations of the store, ensuring a safe and profitable environment.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Perform cleaning and maintenance of lighting and fixtures to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Secure all inventory and currency to prevent theft and inventory shrinkage.
- Learn to operate cash registers, computer consoles, and other necessary equipment.
- Work under the supervision of the Store Manager, following company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently for extended periods.
- Must provide proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
- Willingness to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand or walk for at least 8 hours and lift/pull a minimum of 20 lbs.
- Occasional climbing of ladders for stocking and signage maintenance.
