About the Role
We are seeking a Remote Staff Software Engineer to join Acquia's innovative team. As a key player in our organization, you will collaborate with talented engineers and product managers to create exceptional digital experiences. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the world while contributing to exciting projects that empower brands globally.
What You'll Do
- Work in a highly collaborative environment with front and back-end engineers, product managers, product owners, and product designers.
- Lead cross-team front-end technical strategy for integrating siloed Acquia products into a unified portal.
- Contribute to system architecture discussions, particularly regarding micro frontends.
- Mentor other frontend engineers on best practices and innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to review code and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Design and develop unit and system tests to maintain deployment confidence.
- Produce comprehensive software documentation for both public and internal use.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a focus on frontend technologies.
- Proficiency in Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
- Experience working with design tools like Figma.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Experience with microservices architecture and system design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor others.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Human-in-the-Loop AI interaction.
- Familiarity with backend technologies and cloud services.
- Knowledge of security best practices in software development.
