About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Senior Staff AI Software Engineer to join our innovative team at Caregentic, a company dedicated to transforming healthcare through advanced AI technologies. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the development of our AI-driven applications and backend services, ensuring that we deliver exceptional patient engagement solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Take end-to-end ownership of key parts of our backend services architecture and AI-driven applications.
  • Design and implement micro-service architecture using Python 3.12, FastAPI, and Strawberry GraphQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate health data and clinical workflows into our platform.
  • Develop sophisticated algorithms to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Utilize event-driven architectures to improve system responsiveness and scalability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, specifically in AI and backend development.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks such as FastAPI and GraphQL.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
  • Experience in healthcare technology or related fields is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment and communicate effectively.
