Investment Risk Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Investment Risk Manager to join our team in a remote capacity. As an Investment Risk Manager, you will lead a team responsible for maintaining risk and compliance oversight mechanisms within the Investment Division. This role is critical to ensuring that our business operates within agreed risk parameters and complies with regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

• Lead a team that oversees risk and compliance within the Investment Division.
• Support the identification, analysis, and management of risks arising from investment operations.
• Develop and deliver risk, compliance, and regulatory training for investment services staff.
• Ensure timely submissions of regulatory returns and manage regulatory reviews and inquiries.
• Act as a point of contact for compliance and risk-related queries from the investment division.
• Implement a staff training program to ensure adherence to Continuous Professional Development requirements.
• Maintain a coherent governance structure for the division and undertake risk responsibilities.

Requirements

• Minimum of a First Degree in Finance and Accounting.
• 5-7 years of experience in Personal and Private Banking.
• At least 5 years of experience in the securities industry with a thorough understanding of risk management and compliance.
• Extensive overall experience in financial services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
