What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle, including goals and requirements solicitation, design and review, implementation, operationalization, deployment, support, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the observability of our systems, both for internal use and customer-facing applications.
- Drive initiatives that improve the developer experience and contribute to the open-source community.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in software development.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions that impact the entire Temporal ecosystem.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a focus on DevOps and infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of observability tools and practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for improving developer productivity.
