About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Senior Software Engineer to join our Integration Engineering team at Bugcrowd. Since 2012, Bugcrowd has been at the forefront of crowdsourced security, empowering organizations to combat threats with our innovative AI-powered Security Knowledge Platform™. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of a cloud-native, API-first platform that enhances our capabilities in modern cybersecurity.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement scalable API-first architecture for third-party integrations.
  • Transition existing systems to a cloud-native architecture to improve performance and reliability.
  • Adapt AI tools to enhance platform functionality and drive strategic outcomes.
  • Lead modernization efforts to ensure a highly reliable, service-oriented platform.
  • Build and maintain integrations connecting our platform with customer systems and security tools.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on API development.
  • Strong expertise in cloud-native architecture and scalable service patterns.
  • Proficient in modern programming languages and frameworks relevant to API development.
  • Experience with AI tools and their application in software solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in cybersecurity or related fields.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Previous experience in a remote work environment.
