About the Role

Join the AutoScout24 security team as a Remote Security Engineer and be part of our Information Security team, a highly skilled group dedicated to supporting all our teams in building and running secure digital products. As a Remote Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our systems are secure and resilient against threats.

What You'll Do

  • Own end-to-end risk management processes, identifying areas of risk and assessing our environment.
  • Validate whether risks are present and build detective and preventive controls to quickly identify indicators of compromise.
  • Track risks in our risk registry and partner with teams to mitigate issues effectively.
  • Design and build security products that align with our infrastructure strategy.
  • Ensure security solutions integrate smoothly into the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a security engineering role.
  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and methodologies.
  • Experience with security tools and technologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
  • Experience with cloud security and DevSecOps practices.
