Fullstack Software Engineer - Global Offer Builder

About the Role

We are looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer to join our team at Alan. This is a unique opportunity to work on our Global Offer Builder system, which plays a crucial role in transforming our insurance expertise into actionable solutions for our go-to-market teams. As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building and enhancing the offer configuration, pricing, and builder tooling that is central to Alan's growth engine. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Belgium, France, or Spain.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain the offer configuration and pricing tools that support Alan’s growth.
• Collaborate with sales and insurance teams to create competitive and compliant offers.
• Implement features that enhance the user experience and streamline processes.
• Work on migrating countries onto the Global Offer Builder stack, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Consolidate and improve the builder's reliability, usability, and documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Fullstack Software Engineer, with a focus on building scalable backend systems.
• Proficient in Python/Flask, React, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with high-traffic applications that real users depend on.
• A passion for healthcare technology and a strong understanding of the importance of access to care.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment while valuing in-person collaboration.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Rust and SQL.
• Familiarity with insurance technology and market dynamics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to turn complex challenges into elegant solutions.
