Remote Penetration Tester - Cybersecurity Specialist

As a Remote Penetration Tester, you will play a crucial role in identifying vulnerabilities and strengthening the security posture of our clients.

What You'll Do

• Conduct penetration tests and vulnerability assessments across web, mobile, desktop applications, and IT infrastructure.
• Participate in phishing simulations and red/purple team exercises to enhance security measures.
• Collaborate with senior penetration testers to provide insights that help clients improve their security posture.
• Develop and enhance offensive security tools, scripts, and methodologies to stay ahead of emerging threats.
• Research emerging vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and tooling to maintain a cutting-edge approach.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal tools, processes, and methodologies.
• Engage directly with clients and support security discussions and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of combined experience in penetration testing, IT services, or software development.
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools and frameworks.
• Understanding of core network protocols, architecture, and penetration testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with multiple operating systems command-line interfaces (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Bash, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Python, C, C++, C#, Rust, Golang, PHP, etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Experience with Red/Blue/Purple teaming exercises.
• Certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, OSWP, OSWA, CRTO, CRTP, CEH, etc.
