About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Remote Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for electrical projects while working remotely. You will collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure that all estimates meet the required specifications and budgets.

What You'll Do

• Prepare detailed electrical estimates using Accubid and other estimating software.
• Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Conduct quantity takeoffs and prepare cost assessments for various electrical components.
• Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure competitive bids.
• Assist in tender preparation and submission processes.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates and project documentation.
• Provide support in project management and client relations.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator, preferably in a remote capacity.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Accubid and Bluebeam.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and project specifications.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills for effective client relations.
• Experience in project management is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of 3D building models and advanced estimating techniques.
• Familiarity with SimPro software.
• Experience in industrial electrical construction.
