Tax Senior Specialist - Remote Opportunity

What You'll Do

• Ensure compliance with tax-related policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Stay informed about the latest tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare various tax reports, including SAF-T and other fiscal reports.
• Manage verifications and operations related to e-invoicing (sales and acquisitions) and e-VAT.
• Prepare documentation for tax payments and returns.
• Compile sales and purchase details for monthly VAT return preparation.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of VAT journals and coordinate VAT exemption operations with the Logistics department.
• Assist with tax audits by preparing necessary documentation and acting as the primary liaison with tax authorities.
• Generate ad hoc reports on various accounting and tax matters as needed.
• Perform tax risk assessments, recommend mitigation strategies, and follow up on implementation.
• Contribute to tax planning efforts by providing valuable insights and support to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a proven background in the field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles and practices.
• Comprehensive understanding of tax regulatory requirements (CIT, VAT, WHT, etc.).
• Proficient with accounting and tax software and tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data for accurate reporting.
• Skilled at identifying errors, their root causes, and developing effective solutions for tax and accounting challenges.
• Commitment to continuous improvement in reporting processes and tools.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for resolving issues and enforcing policies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Fluent in English (speaking, writing, and understanding).
• Proficient in advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with SAP is essential.
