We are seeking a Remote Cloud Security Engineer to join our dynamic team at Red Cell Partners. What You'll Do
- Design and implement security controls, architectures, and solutions for our cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and best practices.
- Build and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for detecting and responding to security events and incidents affecting our cloud environments.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure vulnerability management program, including scanning, analysis, and remediation of security findings.
- Implement and enforce Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies and practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Security Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in security monitoring tools and incident response.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Nice to Have
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Certified Security Specialty.
- Experience with automation and scripting languages.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
