Digitalization Student Assistant - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Digitalization Student Assistant to join our team at Topsoe, a leader in decarbonization and energy transition. This Digitalization Student Assistant remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with scientists and drive the adoption of a new scientific platform.

What You'll Do

• Assist in promoting the new Python-based toolbox and AI coding tools across the organization.
• Work on AI skills, coding, and data analysis utilizing multiple data sources.
• Collaborate with scientists on lab automation projects.
• Act as the first line of support when roadblocks arise.
• Demonstrate the speed and flexibility gained from the new platform to the organization.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics/Modeling, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Strong interest in Data and Analytics, particularly with Python.
• Self-driven, solution-oriented, efficient, and structured.
• A curious mindset with a desire to learn and adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
• Available to work approximately 15 hours per week, with flexibility during exam periods and increased hours during summer breaks.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts.
• Previous experience in a research or analytical role.
