About the Role

We are seeking a talented Remote BI Engineer to join our dynamic team. What You'll Do

  • Design and implement data models and ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Utilize Power BI and SQL to develop interactive dashboards that visualize key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver BI solutions that meet business needs.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends and provide recommendations for business improvement.
  • Maintain and optimize existing BI solutions, ensuring they are scalable and efficient.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a BI Engineer or Data Analyst, with a strong focus on BI tools and data modeling.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL and MariaDB for database management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Apache Airflow for data pipeline orchestration.
  • Knowledge of DAX for Power BI calculations.
  • Familiarity with Azure Data Platform and cloud-based BI solutions.
